The tour has kicked off in New York at St. Ignatius Loyola Church with Arvo P\u00e4rt\u2019s works for choir and organ, introducing K. Scott Warren (organ), conductor Kaspars Putnin\u0161 (in the photo). The presenter of the concert is <a href=\"https:\/\/efk.epcc.ee\/?email_id=88&amp;user_id=526&amp;urlpassed=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5zbXNzY29uY2VydHMub3JnL2VuLw%3D%3D&amp;controller=stats&amp;action=analyse&amp;wysija-page=1&amp;wysijap=subscriptions\">Arvo P\u00e4rt Project \/ Sacred Music in a Sacred Space<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Today, on 2 February, a concert will be given in Canada, at St. Paul&#8217;s Basilica, Toronto. The programme includes works by Rachmaninov, Schnittke and P\u00e4rt. The program also features world premieres by two Canadian\u00a0composers of Estonian descent Omar Daniel\u00a0and Riho Esko Maimets. The concert is presented by <a href=\"https:\/\/efk.epcc.ee\/?email_id=88&amp;user_id=526&amp;urlpassed=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5zb3VuZHN0cmVhbXMuY2Ev&amp;controller=stats&amp;action=analyse&amp;wysija-page=1&amp;wysijap=subscriptions\">Soundstreams<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The next concerts will be given in Ann Arbor (Michigan), Columbus (Ohio), Valparaiso (Indiana), Princeton (New Jersey), Durham and Greenville (North Carolina), Richmond (Virginia), Phoenix and\u00a0Tucson (Arizona), and\u00a0Los Angeles (California).<\/p>\n<p>Altogether twelve\u00a0<em>a cappella<\/em>\u00a0concerts will be given under the choir\u2019s Chief Conductor Kaspars Putnin\u0161 with two programmes:\u00a0<em>Northern Land &amp; Spirit<\/em> (P\u00e4rt, Tormis, Sibelius, Tchaikovsky) and\u00a0<em>The Unorthodox Tradition<\/em>\u00a0(Schnittke, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Sviridov).<\/p>\n<p>The last concerts of the tour will take place together with the Sarasota Orchestra and its Music Director Anu Tali in Bradenton and Sarasota, Florida. The programme <em>Estonian Voices<\/em> consists of two masterpieces &#8211; P\u00e4rt\u2019s <em>Credo<\/em> and Mozart\u2019s <em>Requiem<\/em>.
