On December 13, the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir under the conductor T\u00f5nu Kaljuste gives a concert at Esplanade Concert Hall in Singapore. The choir has been invited to participate in \u201eVoices \u2013 A Festival of Songs\u201c.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The festival, taking place in 13-15 December, focuses on the human voice as the most ancient of expressions. The EPCC programme, spanning about four hundred years, includes the works by Bach, Brahms, Debussy as well as Estonian composers Arvo P\u00e4rt and Veljo Tormis.<\/span>
\n Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay<\/em> sits on prime waterfront land by Marina Bay, and offers a complete lifestyle experience \u2013 <\/span>dining, shopping, and the performing arts. As one of the world\u2019s busiest arts centres, Esplanade offers a wide range of programmes. Esplanade’s crown jewel \u2013 the Concert Hall \u2013 seats 1,614 with another 197 seats in the gallery. The hall, boasts superb acoustics and is one of only five such halls in the world with similar state-of-the-art acoustic features.<\/span><\/p>\n
