A\u00a0Sacred Journey<\/em> at the Sydney Opera House, in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>Celebrating the music of one of the world\u2019s greatest living composers, <strong>Arvo P\u00e4rt<\/strong>, this concert brings a canon of his most popular works to the Concert Hall stage. Featuring P\u00e4rt\u2019s closest collaborators, T\u00f5nu Kaljuste (conductor) and the EPCC, <em>A Sacred Journey<\/em> also features musicians of the Sydney Symphony and\u00a0 violin soloists Satu V\u00e4nsk\u00e4, Kirsty Hilton, Veronique Serret.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The programme consists of <em>a cappella<\/em> as well as orchestral works including \u201eMagnificat\u201c, \u201eSpiegel im Spiegel\u201c, \u201e7 Magnificat-Antiphonen\u201c, \u201eTabula Rasa\u201c, \u201eFratres\u201c, \u201eSalve Regina\u201c, \u201eCantus in Memoriam Benjamin Britten\u201c and \u201eAdam\u2019s Lament\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At the concert on April 6, the EPCC performs Arvo P\u00e4rt\u2019s latest work \u201eVirgencita\u201c, which was composed for the EPCC Mexican tour in October 2012.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The EPCC has toured in Australia twice before.
