The recording session takes place at the St Nicholas&#8217; Church in Tallinn, the sound engineer is Jens Braun.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This CD is followinbg the succfessful album with the music by Schnittke and P\u00e4rt, whuch received a year ago the prestigious Gramophone Award.<br \/>\nAlfred Schnittke&#8217;s \u201eChoir Concerto\u201c (1984\/85) is definitely one of the choral masterpieces of the 20th century. It is based on the &#8220;Book of Lamentations&#8221; by Gregor of Narek, an Armenian poet of the 10th century.
