The rich repertoire taken to the tour includes world classics as well as Estonian music, which will be performed together with outstanding Asian orchestras, the Korean Chamber Orchestra and Hong Kong Sinfonietta. The concerts will be conducted by the chief conductor of the EPCC, Kaspars Putni\u0146\u0161.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The tour kicks off with the concert in Siuntio, Finland, where the choir attends Lux Musicae Festival, which celebrates currently its 20th anniversary. The choir performs at Siuntio Church, offering <em>a cappella<\/em> programme of Johannes Brahms\u2019 motet \u201eWarum ist das Licht gegeben?\u201c, Arvo P\u00e4rt\u2019s \u201eSieben Magnificat-Antiphonen\u201c and Alfred Schnittke\u2019s Choir Concerto.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In Seoul, the aim of the presenter, the agency The Bridge, was to introduce the output of Arvo P\u00e4rt, performed by the EPCC. The concert will be held on Nov 19, at Seoul Arts Center together with the Korean Chamber Orchestra, which is the country\u2019s leading chamber orchestra. The programme includes P\u00e4rt\u2019s <em>a cappella <\/em>pieces as well as music for choir and orchestra &#8211; \u00a0\u201eFratres\u201c and \u201eTe Deum\u201c, the latter will have Korean premiere.<\/p>\n<p>In Hong Kong, the EPCC cooperates with Hong Kong Sinfonietta, the flagship of orchestras of this region. The programme chosen together with HK Sinfonietta will be performed on November 30, at HK City Hall, and will feature Arvo P\u00e4rt\u2019s \u201eFratres\u201c and \u201eAdam\u2019s Lament\u201c (Hong Kong premiere), Veljo Tormis\u2019s \u201eCurse Upon Iron\u201c and Mozart\u2019s Requiem.
